About Podatrist Elia Aguiar
My journey in podiatry began when I was just 8 years old. I still remember how my father would ask me to help trim his toenails. Even at that young age, I took the task seriously and found joy in caring for feet. I also loved painting my own nails, something that made me realize how much I enjoyed both health and beauty.
I grew up in a family rooted in healthcare. My mother, a pharmaceutical biochemist, always instilled in me the importance of health and prevention. My aunt, a pediatrician, further influenced my path. Their guidance led me to pursue podiatry, where I found the perfect balance between my passion for nail care and my commitment to health.
Now, with over 11 years of experience as a professional podologist, I continue to learn and grow every day. I believe in warm, respectful, and precise care. My goal is not only to treat but also to educate and prevent. Every patient I attend is a reminder of that little girl who once lovingly trimmed her dad’s toenails, and the woman I’ve become, always hungry to keep learning.
